Some flowers open to the sun. Others bloom for memory.
Mournament Bloom belongs to the latter, a relic said to have first appeared in a garden where no living gardener had worked for generations. The paths had vanished beneath moss, the gates had rusted shut and every ordinary flower had long since surrendered to winter. Only the black roses remained, carved from onyx and blooming without root, rain or season.
Those who entered the garden seeking what they had lost were permitted to take one rose, but never without leaving something in return. A name whispered into the soil. A promise that could no longer be kept. A grief carried so long it had begun to resemble devotion.
Lepidolite beads hold the dim lavender of evening after the mourners have gone, divided by matte black onyx like intervals of silence. At the center, a pale cameo bears a single dark rose, not freshly opened, but preserved at the exact moment sorrow became something survivable.
The black toggle was added much later by an unknown keeper of the necklace. Its circle was said to represent what memory preserves; its bar, what time carries through and beyond it. Once joined, neither denies the space between them. They simply hold.
Mournament Bloom is not worn to forget. It is worn in recognition of all that remains capable of flowering after loss.

Keep dry—lepidolite can scratch or cleave with pressure, while onyx and black-toned metal findings may dull or tarnish with moisture, perfume and chemicals; store flat, fasten the toggle gently and wipe with a soft cloth after wear (don’t worry, we’ll send a polishing cloth along!).
