There is a place in the Síos of the Faewilde where the forest grows over its dead but never quite manages to bury them.
Beneath its roots lie old bones, forgotten names, and things that once belonged to creatures no living fae remembers. The soil there gives off a peculiar green light after sunset. No one agrees whether the glow comes from the forest feeding upon what rests beneath it, or from the dead stubbornly feeding something back.
Graveglow was found at its edge. Its skull remains tangled in brilliant leaves, surrounded by green lights that drink deeply of the day and surrender their stolen radiance after dark. Garnet-red glimmers appear among them like berries, blood, or warning signs, while black onyx marks the path between. Two small skulls stand where the stones finally disappear into darkness, as though whatever made this relic believed even a grave ought to have gatekeepers.
Skullume came from farther inside. Here the dead are less quiet. Skulls crowd among the same strange green lights, some darkened by age and others still blazing with an impossible verdant stare. At its center rests a larger skull, flanked by red flashes and smaller remains, as though the forest gathered whatever it found and threaded the pieces into its own peculiar record.
No one has determined whether Graveglow and Skullume belonged to the same creature, the same traveler, or simply the same graveyard. They were found together, and perhaps that is all the answer the Síos intends to give.
