There are two winged guardians named in the old paths of the Faewilde: Watcherwing, who keeps her eye on the present, and Birchsight, who listens for the future before it knows how to speak. One stands between danger and the door. The other waits beneath pale trees, reading what trembles in the leaves.
Birchsight is the gentler of the two, though not the weaker. Her gaze is set in silver wings, surrounded by natural agate, brown agate, smoky glass, warm coppery shadows, and small flashes of silver that move through the strand like moonlight caught on birch bark. The butterflies along the necklace are not decoration so much as messengers, pausing between beads as if they have just carried news from somewhere no map is brave enough to name.
Where Watcherwing protects the path already underfoot, Birchsight watches the path that has not arrived yet. She does not shout warnings. She rustles. She chills the air. She turns one silver wing toward the thing just beyond sight and waits for the listener to understand.
Some say the Silverbirch Seer can only glimpse what may happen, never what must. Others say that is why her visions matter. A future that whispers can still be changed.
