There are places in the Faewilde that cannot be mapped twice.

A road may cross a hill on Tuesday and run beneath a river by Thursday; a grove may quietly exchange places with the neighboring valley; entire clearings have been known to wander off between one moonrise and the next. The old pathfinders eventually abandoned ordinary markers and began hanging stones instead. Three fine chains were fastened to each one, along with bits of colored glass chosen to resemble the place as it stood that day. If the landscape moved again, the stone was said to remember what the map could not.

Those remnants became the Pendulithae. Glacivelle carries clear quartz and the blue-white memory of a frozen crossing where the ice once reflected a sky much darker than the one above it. Marroweep bears pale howlite among crimson glass, supposedly taken from a white ravine where red water seeped from the stone after rain. Petrifae holds tiger’s eye in amber and brown, all that remains of a grove whose trees hardened into stone so slowly that the birds nesting there never noticed.

Terraflare remembers hotter ground: red jasper, coppery earth, and the deep reds of a place that continued glowing for three nights after the fire was gone. Thicketglass carries moss agate with forests caught inside it, though accounts disagree on whether those green inclusions merely resemble the missing thicket or whether the thicket itself became very, very small. Blushflare is the least cooperative with explanation. Its rose quartz holds the palest pink of first light, while brilliant raspberry glass records a color no witness remembers seeing anywhere in the landscape at all.

No one knows who eventually cut the Pendulithae loose from their markers. They turn up now as little tangles of chain, glass and genuine stone, still carrying six places that have long since wandered somewhere beyond the edges of the surviving maps.

What the map forgot, the stones kept.

Keep the red jasper and warm metal findings away from harsh cleaners and prolonged moisture, since the stone can chip at its edges and the metal may darken over time; wipe gently after wear with the polishing cloth we’ll provide.

✨Thicketglass | Moss Agate:
Avoid hard knocks, steam, and ultrasonic cleaning because moss agate can contain natural inclusions or tiny fractures that may be vulnerable to sudden stress; wipe gently after wear with the polishing cloth we’ll provide.

✨Blushflare | Rose Quartz:
Keep rose quartz away from prolonged strong sunlight, high heat, and hard impacts because excessive light or heat may fade its color and the stone can still chip; wipe gently after wear with the polishing cloth we’ll provide.
