Deep in the Faewilde, there are paths that appear only when the year is changing its mind. The moss remembers one season while the wind carries the next, and along those uncertain trails wander the Staggleam. No hunter has ever followed one for long. A glimpse of antlers between the trunks, a flare of color, and then the forest has rearranged itself behind them.
Foresthart is the elder of the turning woods, seen in the brown hours of late autumn when green still clings stubbornly beneath the leaves. It keeps to oak roots and rain-dark hollows, and wherever it passes, the last living green of the year is said to survive a little longer.
Hollyhart arrives later, after the first hard cold has sharpened the stars. It moves through winter thickets where red berries burn against evergreen shadows. Faewilde children leave their windows unlatched on the coldest nights, hoping to hear distant hoofbeats and catch one brief gleam passing beyond the glass.
The two are almost never seen together. Almost. On the single night when autumn finally yields and winter takes the path, travelers have sometimes reported two sets of antlers moving side by side between the trees. Those who follow them never agree on where the trail ends. They do agree on one thing: the woods look brighter afterward.
Follow the gleam between the trees.
Care Note:
Put your Staggleam on after lotions, perfume, and sprays and keep the silver-tone metal and faceted glass dry, since moisture and chemicals can dull their finish; wipe gently after wear with a soft cloth, and we’ll include a polishing cloth with your item.
