No one remembers who uncovered Merlithic.
Some say it was found beneath a fallen blackthorn, half-buried in old soil and tangled roots. Others insist it came from a ruined waymarker deep in the Faewilde, where the stones still hum after rain and the trees lean close enough to hear what travelers carry in their pockets. Either way, it did not feel newly made. It felt returned.
Merlinite moves through the strand in shadowed black, gray, and pale mineral markings, like stormclouds caught inside stone. Schima superba wood adds a deep earthen warmth, while clear quartz brings small flashes of clarity through the darker tones. Copper spacers flicker between them like old metal exposed by weather and time.
At the center, the agate pendant hangs like a fragment from something larger: a broken marker, a sealed charm, or the last visible piece of a path that has vanished beneath the forest. Its wirework feels less like ornament and more like containment, as though the stone was wrapped not to decorate it, but to keep its story from escaping all at once.
Merlithic does not sparkle politely. It broods, glints, and waits. Somewhere in the Faewilde, there is still a place shaped exactly like the piece that is missing.
Not every necklace is made — some are unearthed.
Care Note:
Keep dry, since wood can swell or discolor and merlinite, clear quartz, agate, and copper accents can be dulled by moisture, soaps, or perfume; wipe gently after wear and store safely, and a polishing cloth will be included with your item.
