There are people in the Faewilde who are difficult to notice until the light finds them.

The Lumenfolk are among these. From a distance they are little more than a flicker passing between branches, a brief glint at the edge of a lantern's reach, or something bright moving where nothing ought to be moving at all. Seen more closely, they resolve into tiny figures: a faceted head suspended within a silver halo, two pearlescent drops hanging like sleeves at either side, and a long crystal body tapering beneath. Whether these are robes, bodies, or simply the shape light chooses to take around them has never been satisfactorily determined.

Vellune belongs to the palest of their number, with a dark, metallic-faceted head above luminous ivory drops and a long clear crystal that seems to disappear wherever the world shows through it. Saffrelle carries the warmer light of the Lumenfolk, all deep amber, champagne pearl, and honeyed glass, as though someone persuaded the last few minutes of sunset to walk away on tiny feet. Blushira is softer still: pale pink facets, rosy pearlescent drops, and a translucent blush crystal below, preserving the peculiar delicacy of something that might vanish if regarded too sternly.

No one seems to know where the Lumenfolk are going. They are almost always encountered in motion, never explain themselves, and apparently consider being mistaken for jewelry an entirely acceptable means of travel.

Handle the glass drops gently and avoid drops or hard knocks, since glass can chip or crack when the dangling pieces strike a hard surface; store them hanging or separately so the drops aren't crushed together, and wipe gently after wear with the polishing cloth we'll provide.
