Long ago, human rulers began whispering about a place called the Faewilde.

Some believed it was a myth. Others believed it was a hidden realm filled with magic and treasures beyond imagination. And as humans often do when they hear about treasure, they began looking for it.

Kings sent explorers.
Queens sent scholars.
Emperors sent soldiers.

A few particularly determined rulers even came searching themselves, wearing their jeweled crowns as symbols of authority over lands they believed belonged to them.

The inhabitants of the Faewilde found this deeply amusing.

Power means very little in a place where mushrooms glow, frogs tell stories, and the wind occasionally rearranges the forest just to see what happens. But the crowns did possess one very important quality.

They were extremely sparkly.

And sparkle is difficult for the Faewilde to ignore.

So while the humans searched for hidden gates and secret paths, their crowns quietly vanished. Not stolen violently, and rarely even noticed until much later. Simply… borrowed.

The fae do not keep crowns as symbols of rule. They keep them as glittering toys, trophies of curiosity taken from humans who came poking their noses where they didn’t belong.

These earrings represent a few of the tiny crowns that the Faewilde decided were far too shiny to return.

Current treasures in the Borrowed Crowns hoard include:

The Redheaded Boodle — fiery red crystals and warm gold tones surrounding a crown overflowing with bold sparkle.

The Jauntyhat Loot — violet and purple crystals paired with a mischievously tilted crown, as though the fae who found it decided it looked better worn crooked.

Sparklespoils — cool silver and midnight tones with clear crystal drops, glittering like moonlight caught in a freshly acquired prize.

More crowns may appear in the hoard from time to time. After all, humans keep making them… and the Faewilde keeps noticing how shiny they are.

Some treasures are ruled by kings. Others simply refuse to be returned.

Care Notes:

Avoid pulling or snagging the crown drops—weight concentrated at the bottom can bend findings or chip crystals; store hanging or flat and wipe gently after wear (a polishing cloth will be included with your item).
