They dug into the bones of the earth, pouring smoke into the skies and poisons into the rivers, until the land itself began to choke. Green fields blackened, waters ran sickly, and even the people themselves began to twist under the weight of their own waste.
Some fled and found the Faewilde, but the scars of their folly followed them. The mutations lingered, carried in their stories and their bones. This necklace bears that legacy: glass-green beads echo the poisoned streams, hematite glimmers with the shadow of industry, and silver skulls watch like warning markers. At the center, the skeletal mermaid hangs — a creature born of mutation, beautiful and terrible, the poisoned sea given shape.
