In the quiet marshes of the Faewilde, where tall reeds sway and whisper to the wind, a tiny species of fairies gathers among the stalks.
They are known simply as The Reed Fairies.
To most travelers the reeds only rustle and sigh, but the Reed Fairies hear something more. They hear music in every shifting breeze — notes hiding in the hollow stems, rhythms tapping against the water’s edge. With quick wings and bright laughter, they answer the wind with songs of their own.
A gathering of these tiny musicians is known as a band, and no two performances are ever quite the same. Some Reed Fairies chirp with bright playful trills, while others hum deeper, bubbling tones from the marsh below. Together they create the unpredictable melodies that ripple across the wetlands at dusk.
