Among them are two whose paths are most often crossed by wandering humans.

Staere is the patient one. With bronze wings warmed by time, Staere lingers in the same clearings for years at a stretch, watching the slow turn of seasons and the quiet movement of magic through the Faewilde.

Glimpsae, by contrast, is rarely seen for long. Bright silver wings flash through the air like a reflection on water—there one moment and gone the next. Many claim they have only caught a glimpse before the little Lashwing vanished again.

Whether steady watcher or fleeting spark, the Lashwings always see more than they let on.
