In the Faewilde, young fairies do not always learn to fly from other fairies.

That would be far too sensible.

Instead, every few seasons, a flock of experienced birds is recruited for what the frogs officially call “practical airborne education.” The fairies call it a field trip. The birds call it unpaid labor. Everyone agrees the paperwork is mostly decorative.

Flutter Field Trip comes from one such lesson: two bird instructors above, two small winged students below, and a great deal of confidence that may or may not be justified. One bird appears to be demonstrating proper lift. The other seems to be reminding its student that flapping wildly is not technically a strategy.

The fairies dangle beneath in red and pink glass, bright-winged and ready for altitude, snacks, or a dramatic complaint about the wind. No one fell. No one was graded. The birds have requested hazard pay.

Today’s lesson: gravity. ✨

Keep dry, as moisture and chemicals can dull the gold-tone metal, bird beads, and glass fairy drops; wipe gently after wear and store separately so the wings and charms do not scratch or catch, with a polishing cloth included.
