Not every fairy drifts lazily through flowers and moonlight. Some are built for speed.

The Featherflits are the swift-winged couriers of the Faewilde, their strong feathered wings carrying them across forests, fields, mountains, and molten valleys faster than most fairies can dream of flying. Where secrets need sharing or warnings must arrive in time, a Featherflit is usually already on the way.

Two of the most well-known among them are Barleyglow and Smolderflare, whose origins could not be more different. Barleyglow was once nothing more than a single grain of barley basking in the golden warmth of the harvest fields. One breezy afternoon she felt an irresistible urge to take wing and share the gossip of the fields with the wider Faewilde — who was ripening, who was wilting, and which scarecrow had seen the strangest things.

Smolderflare, by contrast, rose from a glowing droplet of lava on the slope of a restless mountain. Feeling the earth tremble beneath her, she took flight to warn the Faewilde that an eruption was coming, her ember-red form flashing through the air like a signal fire.

Now both fly the length and breadth of the Faewilde, carrying whispers, warnings, and the occasional juicy rumor wherever their powerful wings can take them.

Each pair of Featherflits represents a different messenger spirit of the realm — and as more of them take wing, their stories will continue to grow.

Avoid drops—these little messengers are light but delicate, so store them safely and wipe gently after wear with a soft cloth (don’t worry, we’ll send a polishing cloth along!).
