There are Feeleyes, and then there are the ones who looked back too hard.
No one is entirely certain what caused the Catastropheyes to grow so large. Perhaps they discovered some forgotten source of Faewilde magic. Perhaps they simply realized that being fifteen millimeters across was insufficient for the amount of staring they intended to accomplish. Whatever happened, twelve unusually conspicuous specimens have now appeared, each bearing a great glassy iris beneath a pair of pointed feline ears.
Their temperaments appear to differ primarily inwhat sort of problem they are about to become. Eyeperbole regards subtlety as a personal insult. Oculossal has achieved alarming proportions and sees no reason to apologize. Hissteria has already escalated the situation. Meowgalomania has plans. Clawvoyant knows what those plans are. Purranoia suspects that you do too.
Elsewhere, Nuclearetina seems to have been exposed to something inadvisable; Psycatdelic has discovered colors unavailable to ordinary mammals; and Pandemeowium has abandoned any pretense that events remain under control. Felinferno burns cheerfully at the edge of disaster, Hallucineye raises reasonable questions about the reliability of one's senses, and Migraineye has arrived accompanied by a faint but ominous shimmering at the edge of the visual field.
Each pair centers a 25mm eye cabochon within a cat-eared metal setting, suspended beneath a simple ring and ear wire so that very little distracts from the chief anatomical feature. They are, after all, mostly eye. The rest of the cat appears to be somebody else's problem.
