In the Faewilde, the northern lights do not always stay in the sky.
Sometimes they grow too bright, too full, too restless to remain overhead. The colors gather along the edge of the dark, shimmer once, and begin to fall.
That weather is called Aurorafall.
It is not rain exactly. Rain is sensible. Rain knows what it is doing. Aurorafall arrives in glimmers: violet, blue, gold, rose, and deep magenta falling through the air like the sky has started dripping dreams. The frogs advise standing under a leaf when it happens, though several have admitted the colors make excellent pond décor.
Each earring carries that impossible descent: a golden openwork sun at the top, a translucent iridescent cloud beneath it, a pale square starburst catching the light at the center, and a deep magenta glass drop below like a fallen piece of aurora before it reaches the ground.
No one knows what happens when aurorafall touches the earth. The flowers glow for a while. The puddles become unreliable. And anything left outside overnight may wake up with a new opinion.
When the sky forgets to stay above. ✨
Care Notes:
Keep dry, as moisture and chemicals can dull the gold-tone metal, iridescent glass, and magenta drop finish; wipe gently after wear and store separately so the stacked beads do not scratch, with a polishing cloth included.
