In the Faewilde, frogs are the temporary caretakers of its treasures.
They keep watch over each piece while it waits, making sure it remains safe, seen, and ready until the right person comes along to claim it. They are not the treasuresâ final owners, nor do they mean to keep such wonders for themselves. Their task is to guard them only for a time, then oversee the quiet and rather important moment when a treasure finds its destined match in the human world.
That is why the frogs appear so often alongside the jewelry. They are part guardian, part courier, part keeper of thresholds, entrusted with the gentle handoff from one realm to another. When your piece came to you with a frog on its care card, it meant your treasure had been under watchful care until the moment it was ready to move on.

Caring for Your Treasure
A Faewilde treasure does not ask for much, but it does appreciate a little kindness.
Put your jewelry on last, once perfume, sprays, lotions, and other beauty brews have settled in. These can dull finishes over time and are best kept from lingering on beads, metal, and delicate details.
Please handle your piece gently. Even gemstones can be fragile, and charms, chains, and findings are happiest when they are not knocked against hard surfaces, bent, or left to tangle themselves into dramatic little knots.
When not being worn, give your treasure its own resting place if you can. A little breathing room helps prevent scratches, tangles, and unnecessary wear.
